‘Monologues’ at Penn State Shenango

The Penn State Shenango Drama Club, in partnership with Lawrence-Mercer ATHENA, will present “The Vagina Monologues” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17 and 18 in the campus auditorium, 147 Shenango Ave.

The local production is part of the global V-Day movement to end violence against women. Tickets are $15 ($10 for students), with all proceeds benefiting AWARE of Mercer County. Call 724-983-2836 for reservations.

“The Vagina Monologues” is based on V-Day founder/playwright Eve Ensler’s interviews with more than 200 women from all walks of life. Some of their stories are humorous, some bittersweet, and a few are heartbreaking. The play has adult themes and language.
