Tales For Tots: Eastern Cottontails
When: Friday, 10 to 11 a.m.
What: Rabbits don’t just come out for Easter. Join us as we meet a real rabbit and learn about our Eastern Cottontails. We’ll also look for rabbit tracks.
Where: Bears Den Cabin, off Old Furnace Road, Youngstown.
Cost: $4 for Mahoning County residents, $6 NR.
Details: For kids age 2 to 3 plus adult. Includes story and craft. Deadline to register/pay was Wednesday. Additional fee after deadline.

FIRE AND ICE
When: Sunday, 2 to 3:30 p.m.
What: Volcanoes and glaciers have sculpted much of the terrain on our planet. Learn about some of the most active and dangerous volcanoes – the Cascades of the Pacific Northwest – during this illustrated talk. The Cascades include various well-known volcanoes; many are topped by glaciers, but molten magma lies threateningly close to the surface.

Sweetheart Hike
When: Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
What: Grab a loved one and come out to enjoy the season of love. After a short hike, refreshments and supplies to make your loved one a Valentine’s Day gift.
Where: Birch Hill Cabin, at the end of McCollum Road, Youngstown.
Cost: $7/pair for Mahoning County residents, $10/pair NR.
