Someplace Safe sets annual dinner and fundraiser

Someplace Safe will host its 14th annual Dinner & Desserts fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Trumbull Country Club, 600 NE Golf Drive.

The event will feature a dinner prepared by the club’s chef, a basket and 50-50 raffle, a silent auction and entertainment by Stan Miller. Auction and raffle prizes include overnight packages to local establishments, gift cards, children’s items, home furnishings and gift baskets.

Dessert will be provided by numerous vendors.

Someplace Safe is a private, non-profit program of Family & Community Services Inc., and provides 24-hour emergency shelter and crisis intervention services for victims of domestic violence and their children. The 24-hour emergency hotline can be reached by calling 330-393-3005.
