Man pleads guilty to stealing from employer

WARREN

Dharl Chintan, 74, of Avalon Creek Boulevard in Vienna, has pleaded guilty to stealing $50,000 from his employer from 2009 to August 2015.

Chintan was working as an accountant for Warren Psychiatric Consultants of Logan Way in Liberty Township when the thefts occurred, said Chuck Morrow, an assistant Trumbull County prosecutor.

Chintan will be sentenced in about a month, after the county’s Adult Probation Department conducts a background investigation.

Chintan could get up to a year in prison on the felony theft charge. Chintan is also ordered to pay restitution of $50,000. That is the amount Chintan and the company agreed to as restitution, Morrow said.

Domestic dispute leads to charges against man

WARREN

Leroy Wright, 51, of Vernon Avenue Northwest was arraigned Monday in Warren Municipal Court on four felony counts of aggravated menacing, one of domestic violence and one misdemeanor count of drug abuse.
