Man found passed out at gas station faces drug charges

YOUNGSTOWN — A man found passed out late Monday face down at a 1050 McGuffey Road gas station is facing several drug charges.

Claude Bowling, 40, was found lying face down at the gas pumps about 11:21 p.m. Monday by two officers who were working a YMHA patrol.

Reports said an ambulance was called for Bowling and inside his car police a large bag of cocaine, two other bags of cocaine and a dose of cocaine, a bag of heroin, pills and suboxone strips.

Bowling is being treated at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital but is expected to be booked into the Mahoning County jail after he is released.
