London Perrantes scored 18 points and No. 12 Virginia used a 22-5 run to begin the second half and beat short-handed No. 4 Louisville. Isaiah Wilkins added 13 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks for the Cavaliers 18-5, 8-3 Atlantic Coast Conference). The victory gave Virginia four consecutive victories against the Cardinals, including a sweep of the season series, and moved them into a tie with No. 14 Florida State for second place in the conference. Freshman V.J. King scored a career-high 24 points for the Cardinals (19-5, 7-4), whose three-game winning streak was snapped. Donovan Mitchell added 16. The Cardinals were without their second- and third-leading scorers, with guard Quentin Snider (12.1 ppg) out with a hip flexor and forward Deng Adel (11.1 ppg) and center Mangok Mathiang (7.1 ppg, 6.2 rpg) suspended for missing curfew Saturday. Reserve guard Tony Hicks also missed the game with a broken bone in his hand.

No. 11 Texas 85, No. 2 Baylor

Joyner Holmes drove for the tiebreaking layup with a minute left and 11th-ranked Texas held on to win its 17th consecutive game, at Baylor to end the second-ranked Lady Bears’ 21-game winning streak and give them their first home loss in nearly three years. Texas (19-4, 13-0) never trailed in the first-ever matchup of teams both 12-0 in Big 12 play. But Baylor, after facing a season-high deficit of 16 points early in the second half, fought back to tie the game at 76-all when Alexis Jones made a jumper with 1:28 left. Holmes, who finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds, then added two free throws after a Jones miss. The Lady Bears (23-2, 12-1) had won 55 straight home games since losing to West Virginia on March 2, 2014.
No. 5 Florida State 80, No. 16 Miami 71
TALLAHASSEE, FLA.
Chatrice White scored 19 points, including nine in the fourth quarter, and Florida State defeated Miami. White also had 14 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. Shakayla Thomas also had 19 points, Brittany Brown added 13 and Ivey Slaughter 11 as the Seminoles (22-2, 10-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) won their ninth straight. Florida State led by as many as 15 (35-20) midway through the second period before Miami cut the margin to 40-32 at halftime. The Hurricanes would eventually tie it at 54 early in the fourth on Keyona Hayes’ 3-pointer but FSU would go on a 14-2 run, including seven straight points by White, to take control. Miami closed within 72-69 on a Jessica Thomas 3-pointer but could not draw any closer.

Arike Ogunbowale scored 22 points and Notre Dame ran past Louisville. The Irish (22-3, 10-1 ACC) used a 22-4 run to turn around an early first-quarter deficit, and led by 22 points at halftime on their way to their sixth straight victory. Lindsay Allen added 15 points and her eight assists moved her past Skylar Diggins into second place all-time at Notre Dame. Jackie Young had 16 points and seven rebounds, and Kathryn Westbeld contributed 14 points for the Irish. Asia Durr scored 31 points to lead Louisville (20-6, 7-4), which has lost two straight. Mariya Moore added 18 points and seven rebounds.
No. 15 UCLA 85, No. 8 Stanford 76
STANFORD, CALIF.
Jordin Canada scored 25 points, Monique Billings had 21 points, 15 rebounds and four blocked shots, and UCLA stunned Stanford. After losing in Berkeley at California on Friday night, the Bruins bounced back to beat the Cardinal one game after Hall of Fame Stanford coach Tara VanDerveer became just the second women’s coach with 1,000 wins alongside the late Pat Summitt and third overall in Division I with Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski. Kari Korver had 17 points for UCLA (18-5, 9-3 Pac-12), which won the lone game last season 56-36 in Los Angeles that snapped a 21-game Stanford winning streak in the series. Karlie Samuelson scored 15 points and Erica McCall and Alanna Smith each added 14 for Stanford (20-4, 10-2).
