FUNDRAISERS

Mission of Love will host a Mardi Gras fundraiser from 7 to 11 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Manor Restaurant, 3104 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown. Donation is $30. There will be creole cuisine and music featuring Teddy Pantelas and friends. Soft beverages are included and there will be a cash bar. Basket and silent auctions and a 50-50 raffle will take place. Drop off auction donations at the Manor or call 330-850-1629 to arrange pickup. Funds will help the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, fire victims in Tennessee and orphaned, sick, disabled and deformed children in need. NIGHTS AT THE RACES

Circle of Friends Foundation is hosting a night at the races Saturday at St. Michael Banquet Hall, 300 N. Broad St., Canfield. A buffet dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. with a cash bar. Races begin at 7:30. There also will be a basket auction, 50-50 raffle, and 22 card Queen of Hearts. To reserve tickets, call Katelyn McQuiston at 330-793-2487. RAFFLES

Girard Multi-Generational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave., is hosting a raffle for chances to win a 40-inch flat screen LED television. Tickets are $5 and the winner will be announced at the annual Cars are the Stars benefit classic car show set for June 3 (rain date June 10). Proceeds will benefit the center. Austintown Night Out committee is hosting a trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 20 at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road. Vendor spaces are $10 each and the event will be outside regardless of the weather. Vendors are welcome to take canopies. Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothes for the entire family from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday. The entire winter inventory is 50 percent off in February. Prom dresses, only in small sizes, are 20 percent off.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 618 Ohio Ave., McDonald, will host a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. It will include a bake sale and 50-50 raffle. A clothing bag sale and all merchandise will be half off Saturday.

Poland Lions are hosting a Treasures of the Trunk sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 10 at Poland High School stadium parking lot. Vendors are being sought for this one-day sale from the trunk of your car. Crafters, home goods, furniture, toys, specialty items and garage sale items are welcome. There are 100 spaces. Alexander Hamilton/Idora Park Carousel trip planned for July 18 through 20. See where Hamilton lived, dueled, dined and died, and ride the Idora Park Carousel.
