Super Bowl LI (6:30 P.M., FOX): Ah, Super Bowl Sunday – the day we gather around the TV set, shovel thousands of calories into our faces and pretend we’re down with football, even if we don’t know a nickel defense from a Quarter Pounder. This year’s big game pits the New England Patriots against the Atlanta Falcons, but it’s about so much more than burly guys pummeling each other on fake grass. There’s the wacky commercials and, of course, the halftime show, which will have Lady Gaga rocking out on the edge of glory at NRG Stadium in Houston.

“24: LEGACY” (10 P.M., FOX): The post-Jack Bauer era begins as “24: Legacy” takes the franchise in a new direction with a new action hero. Corey Hawkins plays Eric Carter, a former Army Ranger who is ready and able to put the beat-down on bad guys.
