Kamau Stokes scored 15 points and Kansas State held off a late rally to hand No. 2 Baylor its first home loss of the season. Stokes made both of the Wildcats’ field goals in the final 6:29, including a baseline jumper with 1:40 to go off an inbounds pass with 1 second left on the shot clock that made it 55-51. Baylor’s Johnathan Motley missed two shots in the final seconds with a chance to tie the game, the latter of which was blocked by D.J. Johnson of the Wildcats (16-7, 5-5 Big 12) as time ran out and the Bears lost their second straight game.
Iowa St. 92, No. 3 Kansas 89, OT
LAWRENCE, KAN.
Deonte Burton hit seven 3-pointers and scored 29 points, Monte Morris added 25 and Iowa State rallied from a big halftime deficit to beat No. 2 Kansas, ending the Jayhawks’ 51-game winning streak at Allen Fieldhouse. Naz Mitrou-Long added six 3-pointers and 22 points for the Cyclones (14-8, 6-4 Big 12), who had a school-record 18 3-pointers while forcing the Jayhawks (20-3, 8-2) into 21 turnovers. They also overcame a monster performance by the Jayhawks’ Frank Mason III, who had a career-best 32 points while going 9 of 11 from the field, 4 of 5 from beyond the arc and 10 of 12 at the free throw line.

Josh Hart had 26 points and nine rebounds, Donte DiVincenzo scored a career-high 20 points for No. 4 Villanova. Kris Jenkins added 15 points for the Wildcats (22-2, 9-2 Big East), who have won three in a row since a 74-72 loss at Marquette on Jan. 24. Mikal Bridges had 14 points and Jalen Brunson finished with 12. Marcus LoVett led St. John’s (11-14, 5-7) with 23 points, and Bashir Ahmed had 15 points and seven rebounds.
No. 13 Oregon 85, No. 5 Arizona 58
EUGENE, ORE.
Tyler Dorsey scored 23 points, including six 3-pointers, and No. 13 Oregon snapped No. 5 Arizona’s 15-game winning streak. Dillon Brooks added 18 points and four 3s as the Ducks (21-3, 10-1 Pac-12) extended their home winning streak to 40 games, an ongoing school record. Oregon hit 16 3-pointers, most since opening Matthew Knight Arena in 2011. Rawle Alkins had 16 points for the Wildcats (21-3, 10-1) in their worst loss under coach Sean Miller since they fell 99-69 to BYU on Dec. 28, 2009. Their 15-game winning streak was the third-longest streak in the nation.

Deng Adel scored a career-high 19 points, and Donovan Mitchell also had 19 for the Cardinals’ seventh win in eight games. Mangok Mathiang scored 16 points and Ray Spalding and Jaylen Johnson had seven rebounds apiece for the Cardinals (19-4, 7-3 Atlantic Coast Conference). Ky Bowman scored 18 points and added five rebounds for BC (9-15, 2-9). The Eagles have lost nine of their last 10 games — this one with Celtics Isaiah Thomas and former Louisville star Terry Rozier sitting courtside.
Oklahoma St. 82, No. 7 West Virginia 75

Phil Forte scored all 13 of his points in the second half. The Cowboys (15-8, 4-6 Big 12) have the league’s longest current winning streak at five. West Virginia (18-5, 6-4) had a chance to move into a second-place tie with Baylor but couldn’t match Forte’s production down the stretch. Forte scored nine points over the final 5 minutes. Jeffrey Carroll led the Cowboys with 20 points but he had only three after halftime and Jawun Evans added 18. Redshirt freshman Lamont West scored a season-high 21 points for West Virginia and Tarik Phillip added 15.
No. 24 Florida 88, No. 8 Kentucky 66
GAINESVILLE, FLA.
Speedy point guard Kasey Hill matched a career high with 21 points, Devin Robinson added 16 and No. 24 Florida beat No. 8 Kentucky, giving coach Mike White the breakthrough win he wanted. The Gators (18-5, 8-2 Southeastern Conference) ended a five-game losing streak in the series and picked up their first win in four tries against ranked teams this season. Florida improved to 2-10 against ranked teams under White.
Syracuse 66, No. 9 Virginia 62
SYRACUSE, N.Y.
Tyus Battle had a career-high 23 points and Andrew White also had 23 as Syracuse rallied past No. 9 Virginia, its second win over a ranked team in eight days. Syracuse (15-9, 7-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) extended its winning streak to four games and remained in the hunt for the postseason. Kyle Guy had 14 points for Virginia (17-5, 7-3 ACC).
No. 14 Cincinnati 82, Connecticut 68
CINCINNATI
Kyle Washington scored a career-high 27 points, and Gary Clark had his fifth double-double of the season as No. 14 Cincinnati recorded its 14th straight win. The Bearcats (21-2, 10-0 American Athletic) never trailed while winning their 22nd in a row on their home court. They extended their longest overall winning streak in three years. Washington had 13 of Cincinnati’s first 17 points as the Bearcats got the early advantage.
No. 23 Purdue 73, No. 17 Maryland 72
COLLEGE PARK, MD.
Carsen Edwards made two free throws with 2.1 seconds left, and No. 23 Purdue knocked the Terrapins out of first place in the Big Ten. After Purdue took a timeout to set up a play, Edwards was fouled on a drive to the basket and calmly sank both shots. Maryland freshman Kevin Huerter then hit the rim on a jumper from the corner.
No. 18 Saint Mary’s 71, San Diego 27
SAN DIEGO
Calvin Hermanson and Jock Landale each scored 14 points for No. 18 Saint Mary’s. Saint Mary’s (21-2, 11-2 West Coast Conference) limited San Diego to just nine field goals in its sixth straight victory. The Gaels shot 51 percent (26 for 51) from the field, compared to 19.6 percent (9 for 46) for the Toreros.
No. 19 South Carolina 77, Georgia 75

PJ Dozier scored seven of his 21 points in the final 2:21 as No. 19 South Carolina finished off its first regular-season sweep of Georgia in eight years. The Gamecocks (19-4) also maintained a share of the top of the Southeastern Conference, their 9-1 league mark their second-best in program history behind a 10-0 start in 1997.

Grayson Allen scored 18 of his 21 points in the second half in coach Mike Krzyzewski’s return after a four-week break following back surgery. Amile Jefferson added 15 points, freshman Jayson Tatum had 12 and Luke Kennard added 10 to help the Blue Devils (18-5, 6-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) win their third straight.

J.P. Macura scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half, and Xavier capitalized on its hot shooting late in the game and Creighton’s struggles at the free throw line. The Musketeers (17-6, 7-3 Big East) made 7 of 9 shots, including five 3-pointers, during a 19-7 spurt that turned their 66-59 deficit into a 78-73 lead with 2 minutes left.

No. 2 Baylor 79, Texas Tech 61

Kalani Brown had 24 points and 11 rebounds, helping No. 2 Baylor to its 21st straight win. Kristy Wallace scored 15 points and Nina Davis added 14 points and 11 rebounds for Baylor (23-1, 12-0 Big 12), which put away the game by outscoring Texas Tech 23-14 in the third period. Alexis Jones had 12 points and Khadijiah Cave finished with 10.

Joyner Holmes scored 21 points with nine rebounds and Brooke McCarty had 11 points and six rebounds and No. 12 Texas defeated Kansas State for its 16th-straight win. The Longhorns next square off against No. 2 Baylor Monday night in a battle for first place in the Big 12.

Gabbi Ortiz scored 17 points to help Oklahoma to its fourth win in five games. Peyton Little and Maddie Manning each added 11 points for the Sooners (18-6, 9-3 Big 12), who swept the season series from the Cowgirls (13-9, 3-8). Oklahoma won the first meeting 68-62 in Norman on Jan 22.
Detroit Mercy 76, No. 21 Green Bay 72
DETROIT
Nicole Urbanick scored 18 points, making all six of her 3-point attempts, and Detroit Mercy scored the last seven points of the game. Haleigh Ristovski added an unusual double-double of 10 rebounds and a career-high 10 assists. Brianne Cohen and Anja Marinkovic had 11 points apiece for Detroit (13-10, 8-4 Horizon League).
Iowa State 80, No. 22 West Virginia 55
MORGANTOWN, W.VA.
Bridget Carleton matched her career high with 31 points and ran her consecutive free throws made streak to 42, leading Iowa State to the runaway win. Carleton had 22 points in the first half as the Cyclones (13-10, 4-8 Big 12) opened a 37-28 lead. Emily Durr had 14 points for Iowa State, and Meredith Burkhall finished with 12.
