Sisters celebrate 50th anniversaries

Sisters Bonnie Ferrick Harrison and Mary Sue Ferrick Gleydura celebrated their 50th anniversaries in 2016.

Fred and Bonnie Harrison celebrated their 50th anniversary Oct. 15 with a family dinner at Georgio’s in Niles hosted by their children.

Their children are Eric (Michele) Harrison of Wellington, Ohio, and Chris (Aime) Harrison of Pittsburgh. They have six grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Harrison were married Oct. 15, 1966, at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard, where they are members.

Mrs. Harrison worked for Union National Bank in Youngstown and was a personnel secretary for Sherwin-Williams in Hubbard. She retired in 1975. She is a member and treasurer of VFW 3767 Auxiliary and treasurer of Hubbard Pool committee.

Mr. Harrison worked for U.S. Can, formerly Sherwin Williams, as a die setter press maintenance mechanic, and retired in 2000. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years.

Steve and Mary Sue Gleydura celebrated their 50th anniversary July 30 with a family dinner at Coppertop, Cherokee Hills in Valley City, Ohio. It was hosted by their children Steve (Kathleen) Gleydura of Cleveland and Jill (Steve) Evans of Valley City. They have four grandchildren.

Mrs. Gleydura is a registered nurse for Youngstown Internal Medicine. She is a member and president of VFW 3767 Auxiliary.

Mr. Gleydura was a pricing manager for 44 years for Trumbull Industries in Warren, and retired in 2016. He is a member of two golf leagues.

The couple are members of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard, where they were married July 30, 1966.
