CANFIELD
Jan. 24
Drug abuse: Police arrested Bryson Frantz, 18, of Ellsworth Road, Berlin Center, on two counts of drug abuse.
AUSTINTOWN
Jan. 23
Warrant: Police arrested Vito Weeks, 23, of Claridge Drive on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge in a hit-skip incident.
Theft: Police arrested George Adams, 42, of Messerly Road, Canfield, on a theft charge. Police accuse him of taking $3.98 in candy bars from the Sheetz Gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave. He also was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.
Jan. 24
Arrest: Police arrested Anthony Cruz, 25, of South Raccoon Road on a domestic-violence charge.
Theft: A Kimberly Avenue man was robbed of two BP gift cards at Dollar Tree, 6007 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal trespass: Police arrested Donald Salus, 47, of Shady Run Road, Youngstown, for criminal trespassing at the Austintown Plaza, where he was begging for money at the entrance.
Theft: Wheels and tires were stolen from a Jeep parked at Newport Auto Group, 1665 S. Raccoon Road.
Fraud: A stolen credit card was used to purchase cargo and services at Global Enterprises LLC, 150 Victoria Road.
Drug offense: Police arrested Dominique McCorkle, 29, of Transylvania Avenue, Warren, on a summons for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jan. 25
Theft: Police arrested Joi Shorter, 22, of St. Louis Avenue, Youngstown, on a theft charge. Police said Shorter, an employee at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., activated seven Walmart Visa cards and the activation fee for each one at a cost of $3,534.58 and handed them to a male suspect at the store.
Receiving stolen property: Police arrested Heather Bailey, 30, homeless, and Brandon Billingsley, 34, of Steubenville, on a charge of receiving stolen property. Police said they were in possession of a stolen firearm in the pickup truck they were driving. The pickup truck they were in was stolen in Dennison, and Bailey told police she stole a .40-caliber Ruger handgun the previous night in West Virginia. Billingsley also had a warrant out of Steubenville for felony fleeing and eluding.
Jan. 26
Criminal trespassing: Police issued a summons to Andre Laury, 20, of Tyrell Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of criminal trespassing at a home in the 100 block of Westminster Avenue.
Jan. 27
Fraud: Merchandise was purchased fraudulently on a credit card at SVS Technologies, 260 Victoria Road.
Theft: Unauthorized charges were made to a bank account to a person at a home in the 40 block of Parkgate Avenue.
Warrant: Police arrested Salvatore Mineo, 59, New Road on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment in Girard Municipal Court.
Theft: A male walked out with a television at Cashland, 4805 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal trespassing: Police arrested Yusuf El-Makdah, 21, of Westchester Drive on a charge of criminal trespassing at a home the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Recovered property: A possibly stolen validation sticker was recovered at Mahoning Avenue and Viall Road.
Telecommunications harassment: Texts and possible pictures were sent out from a home in the 4000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Fraud: Personal and account information was obtained from a person at a home in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.
Warrant: Police arrested Beth McCourt, 27, of North Main Street, Niles, on a warrant for theft.
Theft: Police arrested Richard Massaro, 54, of North Meridian Road for the theft of an ATM credit/debit card at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course.
Burglary: Miscellaneous computer items were stolen in a break-in at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Jan. 28
Warrant: Police arrested Keiasia Williams, 21, of Willow Drive, Youngstown, on a warrant for receiving stolen property.
Theft: A purse was stolen at Rulli Bros., 4331 Kirk Road.
Drug overdose: Eight doses of Narcan were administered to an overdose victim at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
