The fourth annual Creative Arts Night brought in students, staff and guests to Austintown Fitch High School for a night of entertainment on Jan. 12.

Several Fitch organizations set up stations around the high school to give information to the guests who attended Creative Arts Night. Some of the organizations included were the Drama club, the Speech and Debate club, ACTC and several other performing art and creative clubs.

There were performances by the members of the band, the choir sang some of their songs and other students performed poetry all for the guests to enjoy. Students read their poems aloud alone, while some students were partners and read poems they created together.

Some of the stations set up were interactive. People could participate in a Paint and Sip event in the art rooms, there was a large paper that said “If I Could Change One Thing in the World...” where people could write on the paper and several other activities that allowed the guests to experience what the students do.

Many of the organizations were selling things they made, like chocolates, baked goods, ice cream and other treats to the guests to help raise money for their organization. Many of the students expressed how they look forward to this night every year because they get recognition for the work they do throughout the school year.

Creative Arts Night gives community members an opportunity to see what Fitch offers outside of their athletics program. The students work for months being able to make this night happen every year and showcase their hard work and dedication to their organizations.
