Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

The Toughest Monster Truck Tour will return to Covelli Centre this weekend for two shows, featuring some new behemoths and some old favorites.

The lineup of monster trucks will include:

Quad Chaos, the world’s largest ATV, driven by Aaron Cain

Dirt Crew, the original monster-sized dump truck, driven by Jerry Beck

Heavy Hitter, driven by Derick Anson

Snake Bite, driven by Vinny Venom

Bigfoot 21, the legendary truck, driven by Larry Swim

Basher, a new truck built around a 1987 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Kevin Lewis.

Spectators will also see a clash of titans when Reptar and Galactron, two giant transforming robots, do battle.

Covelli Centre’s floor will be turned into a dirt track for the two shows, which will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Advance tickets range from $12 to $21 at the box office. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at 800-745-3000.

Each show will be preceded by a pit party from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., at which visitors can see the trucks up close and meet the drivers. Pit pass tickets are $5.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for those without pit passes.
