Kindergarten fair set at Eastwood Mall

Eastwood Mall is hosting its third annual Trumbull County-Wide Kindergarten Transition Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the mall’s center court, 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road. Information about kindergarten programs and registration will be available. Parents and children will have an opportunity to meet with educators from numerous school districts, board a school bus and visit topic stations based on the Ohio Department of Education Early Learning Standards. There will be crafts for children to make and take home.

There is room for more school districts to participate. Administrators who would like information about reserving space should contact Lori Kelly at lkelly@psycare.com. The Kindergarten Transition Fair is presented by the Cafaro Foundation, PsyCare, and the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board.
