WWE NXT coming to Packard hall

WARREN

NXT, the developmental branch of WWE that features future wrestling stars, will come to Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW, on March 4 for a 7:30 p.m. show.

Tickets start at $20 (plus applicable fees) and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at the Packard box office, online at ticketmaster.com and by calling 1-800-745-3000.

Celebrate Poland pancake breakfast

POLAND

The Celebrate Poland Planning Committee’s second annual pancake breakfast and basket raffle will be Feb. 11 from 8 a.m. to noon at Poland Seminary High School cafeteria, 3199 Dobbins Road.

All proceeds will go toward Celebrate Poland’s weekend activities, including bands and fireworks. Last year’s pancake breakfast raised $2,000.

The breakfast will include pancakes, sausage and beverages, for a donation at the door.

Celebrate Poland is in its 11th year and attracts thousands of people for a weekend of community activities. It will be June 30 and July 1, beginning with the Friday evening Fireman’s Parade followed by family fun, food and ’80’s music with Disco Inferno performing on the Village Hall lawn.

Saturday’s activities will include an arts and crafts show, Chalk the Walks for Poland, a talent contest, and more, also at Village Hall lawn. The weekend will culminate with a fireworks display at dusk Saturday.

Movie at the pool

YOUNGSTOWN

The Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, will have a Dive-In Movie event featuring “Finding Dory” at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 24 in its indoor heated pool. Children of all ages are welcome. Admission is $5 (free for nonmembers) and includes refreshments.
