Fatality cause medical
WARREN
Melvin Aho, 81, of Bradford Street Northwest, was pronounced dead at ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital after an 8:29 p.m. Monday crash on Tod Avenue Northwest. His doctor indicated the cause of death was medical, not crash-related.
The car was traveling east on Tod Avenue Northwest near Robert Avenue and the former St. Joseph Riverside Hospital when it went left of center, jumped the curb, hit a tree and skidded to a stop.
Aho was unconscious inside the car, but the car sustained relatively little damage, and the car was estimated to be traveling 30 miles per hour at the time, police said.
