The Ohio University Scripps College of Communication is launching a Communication Fellows Program that will focus on curriculum development in communication from PK-12 levels and invites teachers from throughout Ohio to apply.

Up to 10 fellows will be named each year with five from rural Appalachia districts and five from urban districts. Fellows will attend a one-week summer residential experience at OU’s main campus and will receive free tuition for a graduate-level online course, a $1,500 stipend and $1,000 classroom stipend. They also will work with college faculty mentors and leadership to achieve project proposals.

Applicants must apply by Jan. 22 and will be notified by Feb. 20. Those chosen will be invited to the Scripps College of Communication Celebration at OU April 9 through 13. For information, visit ohio.edu/scrippscollege/PK12Fellows.ctm.
