Students join fight against cancer

Niles-McKinley High School students and local nonprofit, Rock4Reason, recently made a $1,600 donation to the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center, 1044 Belmont Ave, Youngstown. The students are all members of the school’s National Honor Society. They raised close to $800 throughout October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Rock4Reason matched the amount. Rock4Reason is a local nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing financial and therapeutic support through the power of music to families impacted by cancer and to agencies providing care for cancer or terminally ill patients.
