ASSOCIATIONS

Mahoning Valley Amateur Radio Association will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 11 at 8381 Market St., Boardman, Adamas Square Plaza. After the meeting, Robert Naumann, W5OV, the sales manager at DX Engineering, will speak. Meetings take place the second Thursday of every month. Mill Creek Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will meet Jan. 9 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Networking begins at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30. CLUBS

First Friday Club Speaker’s Luncheon Series will host a student panel from area Catholic schools from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave., Boardman. Sister Regina Rogers, OSU, pastoral minister at St. Edward Parish and teacher at Ursuline High School, will lead a discussion, “Catholic Education: Past, Present and Future.” Cost is $16. Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens is announcing the Flowers of Philly Garden Travel Tour set for March 2 to 4. The tour also includes Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, The Brandywine River Museum of Art, and Longwood Gardens as well as historic sites in the old city of Philadelphia. Crossroads Hospice Charitable Foundation is sponsoring an eight-week grief support group to help people move beyond the pain of any loss and achieve healing.
