New members were welcomed at the December meeting of the Mahoning County Junior Fair Board. Kim Moff, Junior Fair manager, introduced the Junior Fair Board advisers, who explained activities involved in the committees of the board.
Members and advisers will travel to Columbus on Jan. 6 to attend the 93rd annual Ohio Fair Managers Convention and Trade Show. Ashlee Lundvall, author of “A Redefined Life, Lessons from a Pitchfork,” will be the speaker, and the 2018 Ohio Fairs’ Queen will be announced. There will be educational sessions at which Junior Fair Board members may exchange ideas and share interests.
