Mooney maintained its lead from start to finish. Camden Hergenrother and C.J. Sapp were the two Cardinals in double figures with 15 and 14 points, respectively. Bailey Drapola led Brookfield with 19 points.

Geneva was the second undefeated team the Tigers beat this week, the first was Poland. Howland’s Mackenzie Maze led all scorers with 22 points. Teammate Gabby Hartzell had 12 points. Abby Carter led Geneva with 11 points.

NEWTON FALLS

Trailing by 11 to start the fourth quarter, Southeast stormed back for a 50-48 lead. A reverse layup by the Tigers’ Libby Barreca with 3 seconds left sent the game into overtime. Izzy Kline led the Tigers (4-3) with 20 points. Alli Sembach hit four 3-pointers for 12 points. For Southeast, H. Schill’s 22 points included four 3-pointers. A. Radcliff scored 20 points.

BERLIN CENTER

Western Reserve scored nearly as many points in the fourth quarter as it did in the previous three quarters, but Columbiana still hung on to remain undefeated. Alexis Cross had a game-high 21 points for the Clippers (9-0). Kayla Muslovski and Taylor Hall scored 15 and 13 points, respectively. Alexis Hughes led Western Reserve with 18 points. Kennedy Miller also scored 15 points and Laura Sigworth reached double figures with 10.
