The Western Reserve Fish and Game Club, 1058 W. Third St., will have an archery and air gun event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

Participants are invited to bring an air rifle, bow or crossbow. The club also has youth and adult equipment for use and will supply ammo and safety gear, but C02 will not be provided.

The program is free through a Competitive Conservation Club grant from the Ohio Department Of Natural Resources, Division of Watercraft.

Grant helps fund club’s programs

Western Reserve Fish & Game Association, 1058 W. Third Street, announced that it has received a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife for a series of programs at the club’s facility. All programs funded by the grant are free to the public.

Programs available include Intro to Archery and Crossbow, Intro to Air Rifle, Intro to Handguns, Senior Archery, Handguns and Air Rifles, Ladies Night on the Range and various tailor-made events. Programs are overseen by qualified instructors.

The club provides the range, equipment, safety gear and ammunition. Refreshments are also provided at most activities.
