Youngstown police arrest Austintown man on cocaine-possession charge

YOUNGSTOWN — An Austintown man is in the Mahoning County jail after police found a bag of suspected crack cocaine where he was sitting in a car that was pulled over about 5:55 p.m. at Glenwood and Indianola avenues for an improper turn.

Reports said the car owner gave police permission to search it and the bag of suspected cocaine was found where Shay Brown, 26, was sitting.

Brown was taken to the Mahoning County jail on a charge of possession of cocaine. He was arraigned today in municipal court.
