A summary of recent criminal activity in Hubbard, Girard and Liberty:

HUBBARD

Dec. 13

Trespassing: Police handed a Youngstown woman, 50, a criminal-trespassing warning after having responded to a possible shoplifting situation at Dollar General, 886 W. Liberty St., though the woman was not charged.

GIRARD

Dec. 14

Forgery: A Park Avenue man told officers an acquaintance forged his signature on a document as the accuser was selling a vehicle that was in both of their names.

Theft: A woman noticed a United Parcel Service package had been stolen from her Church Hill Road apartment.

Dec. 15

Drug paraphernalia: Authorities responded to a possible drug overdose in the 500 block of North Avenue before reportedly finding a man on the floor with shallow breathing and charging Chris Gause, 56, of Old State Road, Girard, with possessing drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia, as well as Robin J. O’Brien, 43, of North Avenue, Girard, with possessing drug paraphernalia. Several suspected crack-cocaine pipes, a pad commonly used in drug activity, a hypodermic syringe and a spoon with suspected heroin were found, police alleged.

Dec. 16

Arrest: Police took custody of Amarae M. Kornegay, 21, of Roy Street, Youngstown. She was wanted on a Girard Municipal Court warrant.

Recovered property: A woman found a purse as she drove near Shannon Road.

Dec. 17

Arrest: Boardman authorities handed Candis S. Wynn, 31, to Girard police. Wynn, of Lucretia Avenue, Girard, was wanted on a city warrant.

Domestic violence: Gregory Weingart, 22, of Mosier Road, Girard, was charged with the crime after his girlfriend alleged Weingart sneaked up and slammed her to the ground after becoming angered by a remark she had made to him.

Dec. 18

Menacing: A Washington Avenue woman reported her former boyfriend had threatened to kick down the door after demanding she let him into her residence.

Dec. 19

Arrests: While answering a call about a possible fight at a South Market Street restaurant, officers charged Michael D. Glass, 49, of East Liberty St., and Donald L. Glass, 53, of Hazel Street, with disorderly conduct after alleging the two Girard brothers were intoxicated and had caused problems at the establishment.

Theft: Someone stole an estimated $10,295 worth of property that included aluminum siding from a business in the 1600 block of North State Street.

Theft: A South Elruth Court woman told police her son’s prescription medication had been stolen.

LIBERTY

Dec. 15

Arrest: Police took Shainne M. Lewis of North Glenellen Avenue, Youngstown, into custody after stopping his vehicle on East Liberty Street and discovering Lewis, 27, was wanted on a Youngstown warrant charging failure to appear in court.

Robbery: An official with Liberty High School, 1 Leopard Way, alleged that during a struggle with a 17-year-old township boy, the teen threw him to the floor, causing the accuser to hit his head and sustain a lump, when the official had tried to stop him from taking an item from a hallway concession area.

Dec. 16

Damage: While investigating a box truck with its engine running near Logan Gate Road, officers discovered the vehicle had damage to the steering column and a driver’s-side door lock.

Domestic violence: A 17-year-old Liberty girl was charged after her father alleged that during an argument about discipline issues, the teen pulled out a steak knife after her parents had taken her cellphone, then scratched the accuser’s forehead and shoulder.

Drugs: A traffic stop on Belmont Avenue resulted in the arrest of Rean L. Easterling, 25, of Hall Heights Avenue, Youngstown, on a drug-abuse charge when, police alleged, a bag of suspected marijuana and a suspected marijuana cigarette were in his car.

Dec. 17

Arrest: Shawn M. Wilson, 29, was taken into custody after having been pulled over in the 500 block of Gypsy Lane. Wilson, of East Midlothian Boulevard, Youngstown, was wanted on a warrant charging failure to appear in court.

Citation: While dealing with a disturbance at a Belmont Avenue gas station, officers issued a minor-misdemeanor citation charging Ramong A. Frett of Cleveland with disorderly conduct. While in the business, Frett yelled obscenities, tossed items to the ground and refused to leave, a report stated.

Dec. 18

Aggravated assault: A Warren man alleged that during an argument with his girlfriend, of Northgate Drive, she poured bleach on him, then struck the accuser in the head with the handle of a sledgehammer. The victim was unconscious and suffered possible internal injuries, a report stated.

Dec. 19

Burglary: Took place at a residence in the 1100 block of Lois Lane after someone had entered through a kitchen window. Numerous items that included jewelry, a purse and an iPad were stolen, for an estimated $22,480 loss.

Possible burglary: Someone used a saw to cut a handle to two doors at a home in the 1300 block of West Liberty Street. Furniture and clothing were reportedly missing.

Drug paraphernalia: Police answered a call pertaining to suspicious activity on Goldie Road, where they charged Mychael Q. Bentley, 30, of Catalina Avenue, Youngstown, with possessing drug paraphernalia when, they alleged, Bentley admitted having a suspected crack pipe in his pocket. He also was wanted on a Youngstown Municipal Court warrant.

Dec. 20

Drugs: While responding to possible drug activity in the 200 block of Goldie Road, authorities charged Erin R. Atkinson, 37, with possessing drug-abuse instruments and tampering with evidence after alleging she had a suspected crack pipe under her sleeve. Atkinson, of Pembrook Drive, Salem, also tried to keep officers from seeing the contraband that was hidden, a report showed.
