YOUNGSTOWN

One of three people accused of operating a methamphetamine lab in a home with six children will serve three years in prison.

Mark Cartwright, 36, pleaded guilty this morning to illegal manufacture of drugs and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacturing of drugs.

Judge Maureen A. Sweeney imposed the three-year sentence.

Two others accused of operating a meth lab on Manhattan Avenue with Cartwright, Glenn Lambert, 38, and Nicole Lambert, 26, still have charges pending before the court.

When serving a warrant in August, a member of the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force described the Manhattan Avenue home as a “small bomb.”
