Man to be extradited

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y.

A Youngstown man accused of killing his girlfriend in the city and driving her body to Niagara Falls agreed Tuesday to be extradited back to Ohio, The Buffalo News reported.

JeShawn Elliott, 37, of Outlook Avenue, appeared in court Tuesday for sentencing after pleading guilty to one count of menacing in November.

The charge arose when Elliott threatened Niagara Falls police officers with a knife as they arrested him in the August death of Anvia Mickens, 28, of Bradley Lane. A Niagara County judge sentenced Elliott to time served for the misdemeanor charge.
