Lepper Library offers fine-free month

LISBON

Lepper Library, 303 E Lincoln Way, will offer a fine-free month throughout December. Patrons who return overdue library materials in December will have their fines waived on those items.

The items must be returned in good condition. Call 330-424-3117 for information.

Church to host preparation class

GIRARD

St. Rose Catholic Church, 48 Main St., will host a Parent Preparation Class at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 15 in the Rosetta Hall. The class is designed to help parents of children to be baptized prepare for that day.

Call the church office at 330-545-4351 to register for the baptismal class.

United Way receives grant for YWCA Camp

Arconic Niles Operations recently awarded $20,000 from the Arconic Foundation to United Way of Trumbull County. It will boost the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program for YWCA Warren Girls’ Camp for ages 11 through 18.
