UPDATE | DeWine, Husted make Valley campaign appearance today

CANFIELD — Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Secretary of State Jon Husted made their first campaign appearance in the Mahoning Valley this afternoon.

The pair appeared at Inner Circle Pizza here to address a few dozen supporters of their gubernatorial campaign.

Husted said they will spend the next 11 months uniting Ohio around their vision of building a more prosperous state.

DeWine said that will include improving education and job training and getting ahead of the opioid epidemic.

DeWine said they plan to spend lots of time in the Mahoning Valley over the coming months.
