West Branch to host honors musical

West Branch High School, 14277 S. Main St., is hosting an all-area high school honors musical. Auditions will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in the choir room for “West Side Story.” Students will need to sing a song with CD accompaniment or piano music. A pianist will be provided. No a capella performances. If interested in a main role, a song that character sings in the show must be performed. Memorization of music is not required. There also will be a dance audition where a sequence will be learned and performed in small groups. The last portion of the audtion will be reading, which is open.
