Local Democrats meet to elect new Struthers law director Jan. 4

STRUTHERS — Members of the Mahoning County Democratic Party representing Struthers are meeting Jan. 4 to elect a new law director.

Current law director Dominic Leone was elected to judge of Struthers Municipal Court in November. He will take over for retiring Judge James Lanzo.

Leone will resign his current office Dec. 31.

The election of his successor will take place at 6 p.m. Jan. 4 in the Struthers City Council chambers.

Anyone interested in being considered for the position should notify David Betras, county Democratic Party chairman, by noon Jan. 3.
