Brookfield administrators participate in ‘BossLift’

Jo Taylor, Brookfield superintendent, and Stacey Filicky, Brookfield Elementary School prinicipal, recently participated in the Rickenbacker Air National Guard “BossLift” in Columbus. A “BossLift” is an aerial refueling of a military aircraft. This one was done with Thunderbolt jets, while flying in a KC-135 Stratotanker as part of the 121st Air Refueling Wing training mission. The host for the day was retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Robert P. “Lance” Meyer, Jr. Above, from left, are Filicky and Taylor at the base in Columbus. The “BossLift” thanked the Brookfield School District for supporting the National Guard and Reserve during Brookfield Middle School teacher Steve Sambroak’s deployment to Afghanistan.
