OSHA offers new webinar

The Ohio Manufacturers’ Association will have a new Occupational Safety and Health Administration Record keeping and Reporting webinar from 10 to 11 a.m. Jan. 11.
OSHA record-keeping requirements, including obligations to report injuries and incidents of any temporary workers, as well as recent changes in reporting rules, will be discussed.

Council hosts electrical safety class

The Mahoning Valley Safety Council will have a program on electrical safety from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 10 at The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave.
Brian Hall, an electrical safety expert, will explain safety-related work practices.
The cost for Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber members is $25 and $35 for prospective members.

Neuroscience and Leadership event

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have an event on Neuroscience and Leadership from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Jan. 17 at Ciminero’s, 123 N. Main St.
Neuroscience is the study of how the nervous system develops, its structure and what it does.
The focus is on the brain and its impact on behavior and cognitive functions.
New advances and findings in this field are changing what we know about how leaders think, behave under stress and build trusting relationships.
Jennifer Cohen, Ratliff & Taylor’s senior vice president of leadership development, will facilitate the session. Cohen is a skilled executive coach, group facilitator and speaker.

Farm launches store

G. Burbick Farms, a family farm that has been on the same land in Columbiana since 1905, recently launched a web T-shirt store.
