Grant helps fund club’s programs

Niles

Western Reserve Fish & Game Association, 1058 W. Third Street, announced that it has received a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife for a series of programs at the club’s facility. All programs funded by the grant are free to the public.

Programs available include Intro to Archery and Crossbow, Intro to Air Rifle, Intro to Handguns, Senior Archery, Handguns and Air Rifles, Ladies Night on the Range and various tailor-made events. Programs are overseen by qualified instructors.

The club provides the range, equipment, safety gear and ammunition. Refreshments are also provided at most activities.

Deer-gun season

COLUMBUS

Two additional days of deer-gun season (today and Sunday) have been added to increase the opportunity for people to hunt with firearms. Find more information about deer hunting in the 2017-18 Ohio Hunting and Trapping Regulations or at wildohio.gov.
