Boardman man faces numerous charges after arrest Wednesday night

BOARDMAN — A township man is in the Mahoning County jail today on charges of aggravated vehicular assault, carrying concealed weapons, using weapons while intoxicated, and obstructing official business for an incident reported from a Southern Park Mall parking lot Wednesday night, according to police and jail records.

Police received a call about 11 p.m. from a caller reporting they were injured and a man was trying to hit them, according to police records. Further details of the incident were not immediately available.

Charged in connection with the incident is Stephen Rivers, 23, of Boardman Boulevard.
