v 49: The percentage of Americans who plan to celebrate New Year’s Eve at home.

v 30: The percentage of Americans who will fall asleep before midnight on that night.

v 4: That’s where New Year’s Eve ranks in a poll to determine Americans’ favorite holidays. It is behind Christmas, Thanksgiving and Independence Day.

v 103 million: That‘s how many people will travel at least 30 miles from home on the last evening of the year.

v 2 million: That’s the average attendance in Times Square in New York City who will watch the ball drop.

“Empire” (8 p.m., Fox): In the fall finale, Cookie and Lucious devise an elaborate plan to take down Diana Dubois and her family once and for all.

“The Goldbergs” (8 p.m., ABC): When Erica tells Beverly she is going to spend the first night of Hanukkah with Geoff and his family, Beverly worries and starts a competition for who hosts the best Hanukkah party.

Gokey, Grant in holiday concert at Victory Center

YOUNGSTOWN

Christian music artists Natalie Grant and Danny Gokey will come to Victory Christian Center, 3899 McCartney Road in Coitsville, on Thursday for a 7 p.m. Christmas concert. Tickets are $19.50 to $40 at celebratechristmastour.com.

Grant and Gokey will sing Christmas classics and songs from their solo albums.

Globetrotters coming to Covelli

YOUNGSTOWN

The Harlem Globetrotters will return to Covelli Centre Jan. 24 for a 7 p.m. show that will be part of its “Amazing Feats of Basketball World Tour.”

Tickets start at $29 and are now available at ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 and at the Covelli box office.

The Globetrotters include six players who have competed in the annual College Slam Dunk contest held during Final Four weekend, a Guinness World Record holder for slam dunks and the 2016 winner of the TV show “The Dunk King.”

The dunks do not end with the players, as 2018 will also mark the debut of the “Flying Globies” – an acrobatic trampoline dunk team.

The 2018 tour also marks the return of the Globetrotters’ longtime nemesis, the Washington Generals, after a two-year hiatus.
