Ornament workshop

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society education staff will be on hand from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday for an ornament-making workshop. Supplies will be included with regular museum admission. The workshop is suitable for kids and adults. On Sunday, beginning at 1 p.m., members of the Youngstown Model Railroad Association will be at the museum with a model and toy train exhibit and workshop. Both workshops will take place in the Carriage House, behind the Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave., and are included with regular museum admission. The exhibit is open through Jan. 7. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors 60 and older, and $5 for children age 3 to 18. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and noon to 7 p.m. Thursdays.
