Boardman Spartan Basketball Shootout — tournament for boys on grades four-six will take place Dec. 26-28. Entry fee is $160 per team. Four games are guaranteed. Call 330-774-7007 or email dooler1168@zoominternet.net for more information.

Sixth annual Great Columbiana Shootout — Tournament divisions for boys and girls in grades four through six will be Dec. 27 and Dec. 29-30 at Columbiana Schools facilities (three gyms). Five games are guaranteed. Shootout format has 24-minute running clock. Pool-play and single-elimination championships are set. Trophies will be awarded for first and second place. Fee is $120.
