Santa to aid in Wednesday debut of WRTA holiday bus

BOARDMAN — The Western Reserve Transit Authority plans to debut its holiday bus at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Boardman public library.

Santa Claus will arrive at the library at 7680 Glenwood Ave. on the bus, which will be decorated for the holidays inside and out.

Children who attend Wednesday can board the bus and visit with Santa. They will also receive a special gift from the library.

The bus will travel on all daytime routes at least once between Thurday and Dec. 30. It will make its final appearance at the First Night Youngstown event on New Year’s Eve.
