A summary of recent criminal activity in Girard, Liberty and Hubbard:
GIRARD
Dec. 1
Arrest: Police answered a call about a woman possibly passed out in a car on U.S. Route 422 before charging Naloni P. Scrivens, 36, of McGuffey Road, Youngstown, with operating a vehicle impaired. Scrivens registered a 0.085 blood-alcohol content, which slightly exceeds Ohio’s 0.08 legal intoxication limit, a report stated.
Possible breaking and entering: A woman noticed a window to her residence in the 500 block of Forsythe Avenue had been pried open.
Drugs: Authorities responded to a report that a pickup truck had crashed into a home in the 200 block of Illinois Avenue, then charged Sheana M.J. Harrigan, 40, with operating a vehicle impaired and reckless operation of a motor vehicle, as well as possession of marijuana and drugs. Harrigan, of Ohio Avenue, Girard, had a bottle with a mixture of prescription pills, along with a bag of suspected marijuana, a report showed.
Arrest: After being dispatched to the 1000 block of South State Street to investigate a report that a vehicle had struck a building and another car, officers charged Cecil A. Ennis of Peggy Lane, Mineral Ridge, with operating a vehicle impaired. Ennis, 55, refused to submit to a breath-analysis test, authorities said.
Dec. 2
Harassment: A Trumbull Avenue woman said she received 21 such calls, some of which were derogatory and demeaning in nature.
Dec. 3
Arrest: Officers charged Shamia L. Fudge, 26, of East Wilson Avenue, Girard, with disorderly conduct while intoxicated after reportedly seeing her walking barefoot on U.S. Route 422. Fudge yelled, made a scene and failed to desist, a report stated.
Criminal mischief: A man saw that eggs had been thrown at his Squaw Creek Drive residence.
Dec. 4
Theft: A man realized his wallet was missing while he patronized a North State Street discount store.
Theft: A man discovered numerous items that included a leaf blower, stainless-steel tables and siding had been taken from behind his property in the 1600 block of North State Street. The loss was estimated at $10,295.
LIBERTY
Dec. 3
Assault: Officers issued a summons charging Kevin Theodore of Church Hill-Hubbard Road, Liberty, with simple assault after a sales associate with Walmart, 200 Goldie Road, alleged Theodore, 33, had slapped his face during an argument between them as the accuser was making a key for him.
Counterfeit: Police detained a 21-year-old Lithonia, Ga., man after two officials with Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave., reported someone attempted to make purchases with $1 money orders as part of a scam. Beforehand, a Vienna credit union had unwittingly cashed a counterfeit order for $1,000, a police report showed.
Weapon: Jaime C. Hernandez, 26, of Woodland Avenue, Campbell, faced a misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed weapon after having been pulled over in the 3300 block of Belmont Avenue. Hernandez, who also was wanted on Youngstown warrants, admitted having a knife, police said.

Domestic violence: Crystal S. Hunt, 38, of Hadley Avenue, Liberty, and a 17-year-old Youngstown boy were charged with the crime after each alleged having been in a physical altercation with the other, resulting in red marks and scratches to their backs and arms. In addition, authorities charged Michael R. Watson, 39, of Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles, with obstructing official business after alleging Watson later arrived and refused to leave, which interfered with the investigation.
Dec. 5
Arrest: A traffic stop near Gypsy Lane resulted in the arrest of Willie R. Hargrave, 61, of Northview Boulevard, Liberty. He was wanted on a felony warrant from Niles charging forgery.
Criminal mischief: An employee for a township restaurant said that as he left work, he noticed the lug nuts to a tire on his vehicle had been loosened.
Arrest: Police responded to a report that an employee with a Belmont Avenue motel had come to work inebriated and attempted to drive away in such a state before charging Suzanne R. Ginty, 50, with operating a vehicle impaired. Ginty, of Pinecrest Road, Girard, registered a 0.312 blood-alcohol content, which is nearly four times Ohio’s 0.08 legal intoxication limit, a report stated.
Dec. 6
Arrest: Manesha N. Young, 21, of Applecrest Court, Boardman, was taken into custody after having been pulled over in the 2700 block of Belmont Avenue. Young was wanted on a domestic-violence charge from Boardman.
Drug paraphernalia: Authorities in the 2700 block of Belmont Avenue pulled over then charged Jimmy L. Washington, 40, of Trumbull Court, Liberty, with possession of drug paraphernalia after alleging Washington, who also was wanted on a probation-violation charge from Trumbull County Common Pleas Court, had a suspected crack-cocaine pipe. Also taken into custody on a probation-violation charge was Rhonda L. Tubbs, 54, of Superior Avenue, Youngstown.
Arrest: Officers in downtown Youngstown picked up Rayshon J. Ware, 24, of Dearborn Street, Youngstown, who was wanted on a township warrant accusing him of failing to appear in court on a charge of possessing dangerous drugs.
Dec. 7
Theft: A man alleged a township woman, 30, took two pieces of jewelry valued at $10,000, along with $200 in cash, from his Gypsy Lane residence.
Arrest: Police in the 4600 block of Belmont Avenue pulled over and arrested Willie L. Perkins, 55, upon discovering Perkins, of West Boston Avenue, Youngstown, was wanted on a Boardman warrant charging domestic violence.
Dec. 8
Arrest: A traffic stop near Gypsy Lane led to the arrest of Gabriel J. Bleacher, 22, of Brookline Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of operating a vehicle impaired. Bleacher’s blood-alcohol content was 0.162; he also was cited on a charge of having an open container of liquor in a motor vehicle, a report showed.

Dec. 2
Menacing: Police charged Thom J. Koby, 57, of West Liberty Street, Hubbard, with menacing after a neighbor alleged Koby had raised his fists in a fighting stance and threatened to hit the accuser when he tried to offer assistance to Koby.
Dec. 4
Menacing: Two girls, including a 12-year-old, reported a man in a red Chevrolet Silverado stared at and made comments to them as they walked near Gary Avenue and Waugh Drive.
Trespassing: An Elmwood Drive woman said a Lowellville man, 21, left unwanted items on her back porch while apparently trying to contact the accuser’s daughter.
Dec. 5
Menacing: A Hubbard couple alleged a student at Hubbard Middle School, 250 Hall Ave., had threatened their 11-year-old daughter via a voicemail message.
Menacing: A Warren man in the 300 block of Jackson Street reported another man had left four voicemail messages that included a threat to kill the accuser and his dog.
