Melanie Diorio and Justin Davidson were married Aug. 5 during a ceremony that took place at Hudson Manor Estate in Louisburg, N.C., where a reception followed.

The bride’s parents are Anna Marie and Gary Diorio of Boardman.

The groom is a son of Kellie and David Levy of Whittier, N.C.

The bride wore a mermaid-style gown.

Jenna Diorio, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Gina Garcar, cousin of the bride, and Juanita Davidson, sister-in-law of the groom.

Jacob Davidson, brother of the groom, and Tejae Petty shared the responsibilities of best man. Groomsman was Brian Garcar, cousin of the bride.

The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, is a high school English teacher for the Wake County Public School System in Cary.

Mr. Davidson is a carpenter for Home Detailing and Repair in Apex, N.C.

The couple reside in Cary.
