Troop 25 recognizes Scouts at 2017 Fall Court of Honor

Boy Scout Troop 25, chartered to Canfield United Methodist Church, recognized Scouts and adult volunteers at the 2017 Fall Court of Honor in the Fellowship Hall at the church.

The Fall Court of Honor recognizes the Scouts who have earned rank advancements, merit badges and other awards in Scouting since the last Court of Honor.

Everyone was welcomed by the Troop Committee Chairman John Kightlinger, who served as Master of Ceremonies, and the Court of Honor was opened by the troop’s color guard.

Scouts being recognized that evening and their recognitions were, Chris Altiere (Life Rank and Archery, Canoeing, Emergency Preparedness, Fishing, Personal Fitness and Scholarship Merit Badges), Luke Bowser (Eagle Scout Rank and Camping, Cooking, Family Life, Landscape Architecture, Mammal Study, Personal Fitness and Signs, Signals, Codes) Owen Bowser (Second Class Rank and Bird Study, Canoeing and Geocaching Merit Badges), Steven Canton (Scout recognition), Noah Christoff (Tenderfoot Rank and Archery, Basketry, Fingerprinting and Swimming Merit Badges), Marshall Cowing (Junior Scout recognition), Steven Deak (Environmental Science and Shotgun Shooting Merit Badges), Prab Dhaliwal (Geocaching, Kayaking and Small Boat Sailing Merit Badges), Owen DiRenzo (Fingerprinting, Fishing and Swimming Merit Badges), Joshua Farley (Citizenship in the Nation, Environmental Science, Indian Lore and Kayaking Merit Badges), Andrew Hamilton (Basketry, Fingerprinting, Fishing and Leatherwork Merit Badges), John Heino (Life Rank and Bugling, Signs, Signals, and Codes and Small Boat Sailing Merit Badges), Cade Henry (Astronomy, Basketry, Fingerprinting and Leather Merit Badges), Trevor Hykes (Communications Merit Badge), Jacob Kolar (Scout recognition), Jacob Kuszaj (Environmental Science, Signs, Signals, and Codes, and Small Boat Sailing Merit Badges), Evan McNally (Star Rank), Thomas McNally (III-Star Rank and Environmental science and Lifesaving Merit Badges), Albert Pacella (Fingerprinting and Swimming Merit Badges), Wesley Rich (Tenderfoot and Second Class Ranks and Basketry, Canoeing and Fingerprinting Merit Badges), Tanner Tsvetkoff (Landscape Architecture, Pets, Rowing, Signs, Signals and Codes and Wilderness Survival Merit Badges) and Edward Wires (Scout recognition).

The Fall Court of Honor was officially closed after announcements and everyone adjourned to the church sanctuary for the Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Luke Bowser.

Troop 25 meets every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the basement of Canfield United Methodist Church, located at 27 S. Broad St. in Canfield.
