UPDATE | Police seek help to ID First National Bank robbery suspect

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for help identifying a man who robbed the First National Bank at 1 W. Federal Street just before 10 a.m. this morning.

Police received photos of a man they said handed the teller a note indicating he was armed and fled on foot with an undisclosed sum of money.

He committed the robbery by himsef, police said.

The branch was closed earlier today with a note on the door directing patrons to other branches.
