Movie special effects show coming to Packard

WARREN — The Hollywood Special Effects Show will come to Packard Music Hall on Feb. 2. Tickets range from $15 to $45 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 and at the Packard box office, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW.
The interactive show brings audiences close to the action as it goes behind the scenes of many blockbuster films to discover the science and secrets of creating movie magic.
Live on stage, the show’s team will reveal the world of special effects, allowing audiences to feel the heat of an onstage inferno, marvel at gruesome sci-fi monsters, and be blown away by apocalyptic weather and huge explosions!
The Hollywood Special Effects Show uses more pyrotechnics than any other touring theater show, and for some sequences, the audience is protected by bullet proof glass placed across the stage. It also features an animatronic dinosaur and an air cannon.
