Children’s hospital to host tree lighting

Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley invites the community to a Christmas tree lighting and ninth anniversary celebration at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Beeghly Campus, 6505 Market St. The event is free and includes indoor, family-friendly activities, craft stations, refreshments and visits with Santa Claus. Activities begin in the Building C atrium and community room and the tree lighting will take place at 6 p.m. outside the Building C main entrance.
