The Lautners celebrate 70th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lautner of Youngstown celebrated their 70th anniversary with a dinner at Rachel’s Restaurant, Austintown, that was hosted by family members.

The couple’s children are Audrey (Marty) Gray, Karen Lambert and Carol Myers, all of Youngstown; Charles II (Tara) Lautner, of Tampa, Fla.; Daniel (Kathy) Lautner, of Louisville, Ohio; and the late Bonnie Little. The Lautner’s also have 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Mr. Lautner and the former Audrey Boles were married Nov. 22, 1947, in Pomeroy, Ohio.

Mrs. Lautner worked at the Golden Crust Bakery in Youngstown for 20 years until she retired in 1990. She also was a member of the Youngstown Mothers of Twins Club.

Mr. Lautner was an appliance service technician for Sears in Youngstown for more than 30 years until he retired in 1990.

The couple are members of St. Brendan Church.
