Joneses mark 50th jubilee in Naples, Fla.

William L. and Patricia J. Jones of Canfield and Bonita Beach, Fla., marked their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 23 with a dinner at Watermark, Naples.
Mr. Jones married the former Patricia J. Quaranto on Nov. 23, 1967, at St. Patrick Church, Youngstown.
Mr. Jones taught in Youngstown City Schools for six years. He retired in 1997 from Riverbend Food Service Inc., where he worked as president and CEO. He also has been an environmental activist for 50 years. He is volunteer manager of Mill Creek Wildlife Sanctuary and is performing ornithology research for several non-governmental organizations in the state and counties in Florida and Ohio. He was president of the Audubon Society and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Mrs. Jones taught in Youngstown City School, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Canfield Junior Women’s League, Boardman Swim and Tennis Club, Montgomery County Retired Teachers Association in Ohio and Bonita Beach and Tennis Club.
