Boy Scouts host holiday Peace Light

YOUNGSTOWN

The Whispering Pines District of the Great Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America, serving Scouting families of Mahoning County and Hubbard, will host the 2017 International Peace Light today and Saturday. The Peace Light begins in Bethlehem, travels to Vienna, Austria, and across the Atlantic to America. JMJ Spiritual Connections,3408 Canfield Road, Cornersburg, will host the Light from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays beginning at 5:30 p.m. today.

The Peace Light arrives at the Boy Scout Shop, Camp Stambaugh, 3712 Leffingwell Road, Canfield, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Light will be on display from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays through Dec. 21.
