Trumbull County OKs financial settlement with engineering firm over sewer work
WARREN
Settlement agreements signed Wednesday by the three Trumbull County commissioners will result in the engineering firm Thomas Fok & Associates of Youngstown paying $325,000 to the county to resolve disputes related to the Little Squaw Creek Phase 4 sewer project in Vienna Township.
A separate agreement calls for Marucci and Gaffney Excavating of Youngstown to reimburse $20,000 to the county to satisfy damage claims from third parties for issues such as damage to septic tanks and waterlines during the construction.
The county commissioners on Wednesday refused to release the dollar amounts they had agreed to, but today they provided copies of settlement agreements they signed Wednesday that provide the dollar amounts.
The agreements are not finalized in that all parties have not yet signed them.
