Grove City College begins the school year with 696 new students, nine new faculty members, four new majors, 14 new minors and a new pool.

The college invested about $375 million in on-campus work, improving the physical plant and providing a boost to the local economy, according to James Lopresti, vice president for operations.

New minors include cybersecurity and musical theater and are designed to produce added value to an undergraduate degree.

New minors beginning this fall also include accounting, chemical engineering, creative writing, data science, design, finance, international business, management, mobile development, nutrition, social work and Spanish for professionals.
