Phantoms forward Curtis Hall and three of the team’s affiliate players have been chosen for next month’s CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game in Buffalo.

Forty-two players have been invited to play in the Sept. 21 game at Keybank Center.

“This is a great accomplishment and opportunity for Curtis, Phantoms General Manager Jason Koehler said Monday. “He had a great rookie season with us last year, including a very strong performance in our first-round playoff match-up against eventual USHL champion Chicago.

“This summer, he played very well again at the USA Hockey Select 17 Festival which earned him a chance to play overseas a few weeks ago at the Ivan Hlinka Tournament where he once again showed well to the NHL scouts,” Koehler said. “This nomination and game opportunity should only enhance his draft stock.”

In his second season with the Phantoms, Hall is enrolled at Ursuline High School. His hometown is Chagrin Falls and he is committed to Yale following his USHL career.

In 59 USHL games, the 6-foot 2, 195-pound center scored seven goals and made 14 assists.

Also invited are: forward Jay O’Brien, Hingham, Mass., and Thayer Academy Prep; defenseman Jordan Harris, Haverhill, Mass., and Kimball Union Academy; and goaltender Jon Mor, Highland Park, Ill.

Former Phantoms who have previously competed in the All American Prospects Game are: forwards Tyler Sheehy (2013), Kyle Connor (2014) and Chase Pearson (2014); defensemen Steven Ruggiero (2014), Luke McInnis (2015) and Jack Rathbone (2016); and goaltender Ryan Bednard (2014).

The 2015 game saw former Phantoms defenseman Luke McInnis (now at Boston College) snagging the game’s MVP Award.
